Biography
Tony Worobiec studied Fine Art at Newcastle University, and until recently was head of a large design faculty in Dorset, where he is based. As a photographer, Tony is fascinated by the changing shape of the landscape, and these images were published in a book entitled 'Rhythms of the Land': 'Rhythms in the landscape take many guises. Wind, rain and the extremes of temperature all leave their highly idiosyncratic mark in the shaping of the land. The varying pulses of wind produce ever changing crucendoes and troughs in the desert or over dunes, whilst leaving it's rilled mark over the surface of the sand. Whilst transient, it seems never to change'. Tony has won awards both in the UK and internationally in addition to exhibiting his work - which features in the permanent collection of The Royal Photographic Society and numerous private collections, both in Europe and the United States. Tony's images are also in many photographic magazines, and he writes regularly on black and white dark room techniques - with several published books to his name.
