The Artist: Jon Gibbs
Master landscape photographers such as Joe Cornish and Charlie Waite inspired Jon Gibbs to take up photography. From these and others, he learnt that theirs is a disciplined art requiring a love of the outside world, good technique and a lot of patience in waiting for the elements of nature to come together. Jon adds; 'At every possible opportunity I am outside trying to capture a beautiful scene and that perfect moment. My main aim is to keep producing consistently good work that I hope people will appreciate'. Although Jon mainly photographs the East Norfolk coast where he lives, this range of Scottish scenes reflect the skill and mood of his work.
